Sales Policy and Agreement
Our Guarantee
It is our goal to provide you with a healthy animal that will fit your needs. We will not knowingly sell an unhealthy animal to anyone. We will do our best to inform you of any faults a rabbit may have and provide you with copies of all records concerning that rabbit. We will bend over backwards to ensure every transaction we make happens smoothly and worry free. We cannot guarantee how any animal will perform in a breeding program or on the show table. We do however guarantee that all of our animals sold as show animals are free from any disqualifications at the time of purchase. Breeding and pet quality animals may have faults or minor disqualifications that you will be informed of before your purchase. We will replace or refund the purchase price of any of our rabbits that have been determined by a veterinarian to have a pre-existing health condition that leads to illness or potentially death. For this reason we recommend that all rabbits purchased from us be seen by a veterinarian within one week of leaving our rabbitry. We guarantee the health of our rabbits for up to seven days after leaving us.
Show/Breeding Quality Rabbit Sales
All of our stock is guaranteed to satisfy the purpose we have sold it for or your money will be refunded. By this we mean that all show quality animals will be free from disqualifications and breeders free from reproductive problems at the time of purchase. Upon purchase we will present you with correct, full pedigree papers and any other records we may have on that rabbit.
Pet Quality Rabbit Sales
Animals that we sell as pet quality only are that: pets only and should not be bred or shown. When you sign your purchase agreement you will also sign in agreement with our pet quality sales policy. Our pet quality rabbits will not be allowed to go to their new homes until they are at least 6-7 weeks old. We may hold some rabbits for as long as 10 weeks. All of our rabbits are handled from the day they are born and bred for temperament first and quality second; therefore they will make wonderful pets. We recommend that pet rabbits be spayed or neutered after six months of age to prevent certain types of cancers and other potential health problems. Our pet rabbits do not come with a full pedigree, but all come with a birth certificate and proper care information. We will also provide you with a small bag of the food our babies are raised on. You are not allowed to change their food until they are at least 9 weeks old. We care very much for all of our rabbits and want them to find forever homes. If for any reason you can not keep your pet rabbit you are to return the rabbit to us as stated in our contract. We should be the first to know that you do not plan to keep your rabbit. We will gladly take any of our rabbits back at any time with no questions asked.
Purchasing Our Rabbits
We would be happy to share with you information on any of our rabbits we have for sale including pictures. We recommend setting up an appointment so you have the opportunity to view our animals and facility. Our rabbits are sold first come first serve and we will not hesitate to sell any rabbit that does not have a current hold (paid) for it. We do however reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone. If for some reason we do not have what you are looking for, we would be happy to put you on our waiting list or refer you to another reputable breeder.
Reserving a Particular Rabbit
In most cases purchased rabbits can be paid for in full and taken with the new owner in one visit. However if for any reason you must reserve a rabbit you are planning to purchase we require a non refundable 50% deposit. Animals may be reserved for many reasons such as waiting for adequate transportation; buyer needs time to set up facilities, or may be waiting for a does kits to be weaned or any other possibility. We will reserve any rabbit for up to 7 days. After that we will begin to charge boarding.
Reserving Upcoming Kits
Upcoming kits may be reserved as soon as we know a breeding has taken place. Since there is no way to plan for sure how a breeding may turn out we advise buyers placing reservations on kits to make 1st and 2nd choice selections. An example is someone wanting a female kit from DoeA and BuckA and that breeding only resulting in male kits. That customer’s second choice was a female kit from DoeB and BuckC. The customer will then receive a female kit from that set of parents. All kits can be reserved on our property until they are 9 weeks old. After that we will begin to charge boarding.
If We Are Unable To Fill an Order
In the rare case that we are unable to hold up our end of the deal and present a reserved rabbit to you we may have another rabbit that may interest you or some other deal we can offer you. If we can not provide you with what you want and work something out we will refund your deposit in full.
Cancelled Orders
If for any reason you need to cancel an order and back out of a deal we have started we understand. Life happens to everyone and we know what. However this is a business deal and we will be unable to refund your original deposit.
Payment
We will accept cash, paypal and personal checks. However if we accept a check we must make sure it clears before an animal can be picked up, delivered, or shipped. Payment is due for all rabbits at the time of pick-up or delivery.
Shipping
Shipping is not available at this point unless you do the research and find out all the loopholes! Sorry!
Delivery
Delivery of your purchased animals is available for an additional charge. We will deliver year round to anywhere within 50 miles of
Boarding
We will be happy to board any rabbits that you plan on purchasing but need to stay longer than the allotted reservation time. The charge for boarding is $0.10 a day for animals awaiting breeding $0.25 a day for first ten days and $1.00 a day after that for animals purchased. Boarding must be paid in advance unless another arrangement is made
